n8n.io has an extensive library of nodes that perform tasks, establish connections, and produce viable output. One of the benefits of n8n.io is it's flexibility. Although the entry point for many is building agents easily, there is work that must be done independent of the agent in order to achieve reliable outcomes and output.

I've experimented with many available workflows on the n8n.io templates site. I've also watched many youtube tutorials and read many blogs. What I've found was surface level workflows that perform very basic functions. Frankly, not good enough for a real world scenario that needs to be customized.

In the interest to have a good starting point, I found a reference library that was very helpful for some of the most used nodes in n8n.io. This was created by user I Versus AI and can be downloaded here for free: Explore n8n nodes in a visual reference library

One of the great things about n8n.io is the access to thousands of templates. Not all are useful, or work, but they stir the imagination into what's possible at the very least.

I recommend you take a look at these and understand the purpose of each node. When you open a workflow, you can access the documentation associated with it to learn more details.

I'm sharing screenshots of the library here, but if you're interested in interacting with them, go to the link above and you can download it for your n8n.io instance:
